Siam Rahman is the founder of Diegetic Space Synchronicity [DSS], a Dhaka-based designer and researcher whose work explores the intersection of architecture, computation, and cultural systems. DSS was founded as an experimental design studio, both a thinking platform and a testing ground—where ideas are developed through inquiry, iteration, and speculation.
His interests lie in experimental design methods that engage digital tools, simulations, and system-based thinking. Through parametric workflows, AI-assisted processes, game logic, and narrative structures, he investigates how spatial systems can adapt, respond, and evolve rather than remain fixed or static.
At DSS, design is treated as an ongoing experiment rather than a final object. Virtual environments, coding, and interactive simulations are used as tools to test possibilities, provoke questions, and imagine alternative futures. His practice is driven by curiosity—using experimentation as a method to understand space, culture, and emerging technological realities.
